ProvenanceAlbum by a member (probably mechanic) of 2./JG27, showing the Battle of France, and a good mix of other subjects. Many photographs of German aircraft, French casualties and POWs, some tanks, many cities in France with war damage, Cherbourg, Channel coast, as well as images of Bulgaria, Greece, Athens, Italy, Gela and Catania, Russia; Witebsk and Novgorod. Unusual group adjutants chevron on the fuselage on 1st page. Beautiful JG27 Afrika 109.
It is nicely captioned, and interesting technical images to note include a SOMUA S-35 tank on transporter, and good pictures of a Bf 109 of JG 27, and a captured British Hurricane and Bristol Blenheim. includes aerial views.
