ProvenanceThe fourth of five albums of an unnamed soldier in Wehrmacht Artillery Regiment 109. Photographs document the regiment's advance across occupied Czechoslovakia towards the Balkans and Eastern Front. Of interest are pictures of advancing German armoured columns and firing artillery as well as barracks and camp life. Included are numerous humourous military postcards and pictures of the unnamed soldier(s) relaxing in Wischau (today Vyškov) in the South Moravian Region of Czechoslovakia. Some short captions.
